Winter Time is the best time

Fall and winter are the best times to trim or prune your trees. Trimming trees at the right time is very important to keeping them healthy. During the fall, the tree prepares to go dormant which helps the tree survive the winter cold. While dormant, trees are able to heal the wounds made from pruning before the stressors of spring, like disease and insects, arrive.
